FAQ

Straight answers.

The questions we hear most from boat and car owners. Anything else, call or text (239) 776-6226.

Do I have to bring my boat somewhere?

No. We come to your dock and detail the boat where it sits, on the lift or in the slip. There is no haul-out. Cars and trucks are done in your driveway.

Where does Ride & Tide work?

Naples, Bonita Springs and Marco Island, Florida. We also run trips down to the Florida Keys, from Stock Island to Key West.

How much does boat detailing cost?

Boat work is priced per foot of length: Marine Interior + Exterior Detail is $10 per foot, Compound Polish + Wax is $75 per foot and Marine Ceramic Coating is $130 per foot. A 26-foot boat is $260 for the full detail. Price can vary with size and condition, so the final number comes after we see the boat or your photos.

How much does car detailing cost?

Car and truck packages run from $250 to $950, depending on the package and the size of the vehicle. Interior + Exterior Detail starts at $250 for a coupe; Premium Detail at $350; Paint Correction at $300; Ceramic Coating at $700.

How often should a boat be detailed?

Kyle’s rule of thumb: wash it monthly if you can, and every four months at the very least. Salt and sun never take a day off. Ask us about monthly wash plans.

Ceramic coating or wax?

In Kyle’s words: “Ceramic coating costs three times as much as wax… I still think it’s the best option,” and “Wax only lasts six months… I’ve seen properly treated ceramic coating jobs last three plus years.” Results depend on the surface and how it is looked after; a coating still needs maintenance.

Is paint correction included in a ceramic coating?

Not in the car coating price. Ceramic Coating includes decontamination, prep and light polishing; full Paint Correction is a separate service if the paint needs it.

How fast will I hear back?

Within 24 hours. Send your picks from the Quote Builder with a few photos; they help us price the job without guessing.

How much notice do you need?

Please book at least 48 hours ahead. Cancellations also need 48 hours’ notice.

When do I pay?

When the work is done. Nothing is paid online. Look the boat or vehicle over before we leave and tell us within 72 hours if anything isn’t right.
