Naples canal home · Sept 202625-ft Manitou pontoon, after one visit

Restored, not replaced

Every surface. One visit.

This pontoon got the lot on the owner’s own dock: compounded gelcoat, cleaned and conditioned seats, a scrubbed deck and every hatch opened and done.

Five stages, one visit

What we do at your dock.

The hull map up top isn’t decoration. Its five callouts are the five stages of a full Ride & Tide visit. Tell us which ones your boat needs.

  1. Wool pad polishing the Scout's black hull

    01

    Oxidation

Chalky, faded gelcoat compounded and buffed back to gloss, then sealed with marine-grade wax.

  2. The pontoon's curved lounge seating, cleaned and conditioned

    02

    Mildew

Seats, cushions and vinyl cleaned, with mildew and odor treated, not just wiped.

  3. Pontoon captain's chair and cup-holder console after the detail

    03

    Protectant

Upholstery and vinyl conditioned and protected against salt and sun.

  4. Pontoon deck toward the outboard after cleaning

    04

    Hatches

We open every hatch. Storage gets vacuumed and wiped down, not skipped.

  5. Gelcoat seat base, speaker and stainless rail after compounding and polish

    05

    Rust

Rust stains lifted off rails and hardware. Restored, not replaced.

Ceramic coating costs three times as much as wax… I still think it’s the best option.

Kyle, on ceramic vs wax

Wax only lasts six months… I’ve seen properly treated ceramic coating jobs last three plus years.

Kyle, on ceramic vs wax

His opinion from the job, not a promise: results depend on the surface and how it’s looked after.

All questions
Do I have to bring my boat somewhere?

No. We come to your dock and detail the boat where it sits, on the lift or in the slip. There is no haul-out. Cars and trucks are done in your driveway.

How much does boat detailing cost?

Boat work is priced per foot of length: Marine Interior + Exterior Detail is $10 per foot, Compound Polish + Wax is $75 per foot and Marine Ceramic Coating is $130 per foot. A 26-foot boat is $260 for the full detail. Price can vary with size and condition, so the final number comes after we see the boat or your photos.

How often should a boat be detailed?

Kyle’s rule of thumb: wash it monthly if you can, and every four months at the very least. Salt and sun never take a day off. Ask us about monthly wash plans.

Ceramic coating or wax?

In Kyle’s words: “Ceramic coating costs three times as much as wax… I still think it’s the best option,” and “Wax only lasts six months… I’ve seen properly treated ceramic coating jobs last three plus years.” Results depend on the surface and how it is looked after; a coating still needs maintenance.

How fast will I hear back?

Within 24 hours. Send your picks from the Quote Builder with a few photos; they help us price the job without guessing.
