Locally owned and operated
On the dock, doing the work.
Ride & Tide Detailing is Kyle Griffin’s business: mobile boat detailing first, with cars and trucks alongside, across Naples, Bonita Springs and Marco Island.
Ride & Tide
Boats first. Then the driveway.
Most of what we do is boats: pontoons, center consoles and bigger boats on lifts and in slips around Naples, Bonita Springs and Marco Island. Land or sea, the cars and trucks in the driveway get the same care.
Kyle’s card lists what the business does in five words: interiors, exteriors, coatings, ceramics, gel coats. That’s still the job. A regular marine detail, compound polishing for oxidized gelcoat, ceramic coatings for salt and sun, and the same work on vehicles.
Kyle is on the docks himself, and he trains the crew that works on your boat.

How we work
Four lines we stand behind.
We come to your dock
Your boat stays on the lift or in the slip. No haul-out, no trailer, no drop-off.
We open every hatch
Storage, lockers and the places nobody looks. A detail is the whole boat.
Restored, not replaced
Faded gelcoat, chalky trim and stained vinyl can often be brought back instead of replaced.
Owner-trained crew
Kyle trains the crew himself, so the work is done his way.

In Kyle’s words
“Ceramic coating costs three times as much as wax… I still think it’s the best option.”
“Wax only lasts six months… I’ve seen properly treated ceramic coating jobs last three plus years.”
Kyle Griffin, on ceramic coating vs wax. His opinion from the job, not a promise.
